Out of State: A Gothic Romance Is Finished

News: “After many many months of post production, Out of State:A Gothic Romance is officially finished. The independent narrative is Victoria Bugbee’s first feature film and was submitted to Tribeca today. “Thanks to our outstanding post production team,” comments Victoria Bugbee Director, Co-Writer, “who took a micro budget film and made it look and sound like a million dollars.”

The Post Team includes K.A.Miille, Editor, Joe Deihl, Composer and Sound Designer, Assistant Editor and Post-Production Supervisor Matthew Brueckner, and Color Grading by my friends at Chromavision. They were able to take 100 scenes shot by Ilya Shnitser, Director of Photography, that span 6 months from winter to summer and string it all together with a beautiful score, sound effects and color blending to unite the various cameras used on set.

Shout out to all the musicians friends who lent their songs and talents to the film. Emily King, Kim Kalesti, Amanda Platt and The Honey Cutters, John Mason, Carter McNeill, and Bachtopus. Amie Becker Karscig sings the theme song.
